About the hosting organisation
The UNU Critical Policy Lab is a new student-led initiative that aims to foster an environment for public policy students and professionals to critically reflect on current practices and approaches. The Lab aims to foster dialogue and experimentation in order for participants to be empowered with critical tools to imagine new scenarios and possible futures.
It is a network-based policy community of young professionals, students, and academics aimed at informing of the key lessons to be learnt from critical theory, feminist/power perspectives, alternative economics, and decoloniality. The idea is to prepare and empower students and staff to become responsible professionals in their communities, critical/decolonial researchers, and conscious leaders that know how to navigate the intersectional plurality and layered complexity of the world and its many challenges.
